Trufflegate is producing magnificent French Black Truffles right here in Australia.

Trufflegate is a small truffiere in Sutton, just north of Canberra on the Sydney side.

Trufflegate owners Jennifer and Michael Gardiner established Trufflegate with 400 oak and hazelnut trees in 2006.  They were delighted to produce their first French Black truffles six year later in 2012.

Two Hungarian Vislas, one very old, one young, put their noses to the ground to find the precious truffles.

Trufflegate truffles are being enjoyed in some very popular Canberra restaurants and are being snapped up through Belconnen markets in the ACT and through Eveleigh and Piermont markets in Sydney, NSW.

Trufflegate truffles have been enjoyed as far away as Hong Kong and Vietnam where they were a highlight among the French community in the canapés celebrating the French Beaujolais Nouveau.
